ASN Carers Support Day

Join us for a special Support Day for parents and carers of children with additional support needs, designed to provide connection, wellbeing, and practical support in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The day will begin with a refreshing wellbeing walk, followed by a carer's lunch where you can relax and meet other families. Parents and children can then enjoy a fun fitness and activity session together, creating opportunities for laughter, movement, and shared experiences. The day will conclude with a supportive group session, offering a safe space to connect, share, and access information and encouragement. Whether you're looking for support, friendship, or simply a chance to recharge, we would love to welcome you. You can come along to as many sessions as you want.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

10.00-11.30am - Wellbeing Walk - Join us for a relaxing stroll round Glen Nevis. Take the chance to get moving and clear the head.

12.00-1.30pm - Carer’s Lunch - Take time out and let us look after you as you enjoy a tasty lunch on us. A great opportunity to share experiences, knowledge and advice.

4.00-5.00pm - Parent & Child Fun Fitness and Activity Session - This one is for parents and children as you participate together in a range of fun games and activities. Take the chance to be a ‘big kid’ and work closely with your children.

6.00-7.00pm - ASN Parent’s Support Group - Come along and share your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Lots of advice and information available too.

All sessions take place from An Drochaid, and there’s no need to book, just come along.
