Carers Wellbeing Day

Our Carer’s Wellbeing Day provided a wonderful opportunity for carers to focus on their own health and wellbeing. The day included a refreshing walk, an energising run, a tasty and healthy lunch accompanied by some guided mindfulness, and a fun workout to boost fitness and confidence. Participants will be able to take time for themselves, connect with others, and learn simple ways to support their physical and mental wellbeing.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

10.00-11.30am - Wellbeing Walk - Enjoy a relatively easy guided walk and talk around Glen Nevis.

12.00-1.30pm - Healthy Mindfulness Lunch - Join us for a healthy lunch with guided mindfulness activities included.

4.00-5.00pm - Run for Fun - Get a little bit of extra motivation for your run, with a group session led by an experienced running coach. Suitable for all abilities.

6.00-7.00pm - Wellbeing Workout - Take on a fun body weight exercise circuit that fits to your fitness level. Followed by some stretching and a bit of mindfulness.

All sessions take place from An Drochaid, and there’s no need to book. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.
